Most people talk about tents they are referring to camping tents. It is becoming more popular for people to use party tents for different events like festivals and tailgating. These canopy tents are great and provide shelter for so many uses.
As people we want awnings for different reasons. When in the backyard, retractable awnings seem to be very popular. These awnings can retract and move out of the way if you do not need shade at a certain time. The motorized retractable awnings are really neat and can be controlled with a remote control. The other type of awnings that people buy are door awnings and window awnings. These awnings are pretty much the same thing but the door awnings are used to cover doors and window awnings are used to cover windows. These awnings can serve as a functional product to shield the door and window from sun and rain or purely cosmetic. You can even have custom graphics added to these to use them as advertising. A very popular brand of door and window awnings is Beauty Mark. They also appear to be of very good quality.
If you enjoy the outdoors like most of us, you need to be familiar with canopies and tents. Canopies are used mostly to refer to pop up canopies like the ez up canopy or the caravan canopy. I prefer using the caravan canopy because they appear to be better quality than the ez up although both are great products.
